AURORA is a refuge barn in Wasilla, Alaska where elder-horses and people facing hard seasons get a second chance together. Their volunteer team offers faith-rooted wellness time with horses for children, teens, and adults walking through cancer, PTSD, grief, and other storms of life. The AURORA Team is certified in the Eagala-Model which is a team approach that includes a licensed, credentialed Mental Health Professional, a qualified Equine Specialist, and horses working together with the client.
